Three male juveniles were arrested after they were identified as the persons responsible for fatally shooting a 15 year old boy. The incident occurred in the 4100 block of W. Cullerton St., on June 17, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Three male juveniles approached a 15 year old boy and announced a robbery. The 15 year old turned to flee when he was shot in the back. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced. The juveniles were charged accordingly as adults. No further information is available at this time.
COMMUNITY ALERT: Robberies in the 12th (Near West) District
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 012th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred in the 12th District during the month of June. In these incidents, the offender approaches the victims on the street and forcibly takes their purse or backpack. Incident times and locations are listed below:
- 1400 Block of West Walton on June 18, 2015 at approximately 11:00 P.M.
- 1100 Block of North Wood on June 20, 2015 at approximately 3:00 A.M.

One male black wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt; 18-28 years of age; 130-170 lbs.; hair worn in dreadlocks.
CPD Community Alert: Wanted for Attempt Luring in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing)
About the crime:
On June 18, 2015 at approximately 8:00 AM, at 60th and Rhodes, a 14 year old female was walking to school when an unknown male and unknown female attempted to lure her into their vehicle. They pulled alongside the female and asked her if she wanted a ride. She refused and immediately informed a school crossing guard. The offenders fled when they observed the victim approached the crossing guard.
About the offender(s):
- Offender #1 (Driver) is described as a female black.
- Approximately 30 years of age, long hair, medium complexion.
- Last seen wearing a light blue Nursing Scrub Top.
- Offender #2 (Passenger) is described as male black
- Approximately 35 years of age, light complexion.
- Last seen wearing Black Scarf “Do-Rag”, Black Sweater
ROADSIDE SAFETY CHECK – ENGLEWOOD (7TH) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Englewood (7th) District at 6401 S. Ashland Ave. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20th, 2015.
DUI STRIKE FORCE PATROL – GRESHAM (6th) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Gresham (6th) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 21th, 2015.
North Side Man Charged in Fatal Stabbing
Ross Feiwell, 58 was arrested in connection to a stabbing that occurred on June 14, 2015, at approx. 9:45 pm on the 4400 Block of N. Broadway Ave. During a verbal altercation with a 49 year old male, Feiwell produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck. Feiwell was subsequently taken into custody after he was positively identified as the offender. The victim was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital where he was pronounced.
South Shore Man Charged in Kenwood Murder
Arieus Fitch, 20 was arrested after he was identified as the man who shot 2 juveniles, fatally wounding one. This incident occurred on May 24, 2015 at approximately 8:20 p.m. in the 4400 block of S. Cottage Grove Ave. Two male, ages 14 and 15, were walking outside when shots were fired at them from a passing light colored sedan. The 15 year old male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the back and was pronounced on the scene. The 14 year old male was taken to the University of Chicago with a gunshot wound to the ankle. Fitch was identified as the shooter and charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.

Two Male Juveniles Charged in Riverdale Shooting
Two male juveniles have been arrested and charged with the shooting of 2 men on June 12, 2015. This incident occurred on the 13200 block of S. Vernon at approximately 10:30 p.m. Both male victims, ages 61 and 21, were inside of a residence when shots were fired from a passing vehicle. The victims both sustained gunshot wounds to the legs and both were taken to Christ Hospital in fair condition. Officers were able to arrest the offenders a short distance away. The juveniles were charged accordingly as adults. No further information is available at this time.
