robbery related incidents during the month of July. In these incidents, male black
offender(s) armed with a handgun or knife approach food delivery drivers and
demand property. These incidents have occurred in the late afternoon and evening
hours of the day.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of
burglary incidents which have occurred during the month of July. In these incidents,
offender(s) gain entry into a residence/garage through a side/rear door and take
property from therein.

Community Alert – Wanted for Robbery
Two recent Armed Robbery incidents have occurred in the 25th District. In both
cases, two teenage male offenders approach adult female victims, display a dark
colored handgun, and demand property. The offenders take cell phones, purses,
and US Currency.
ROADSIDE SAFETY CHECK – HARRISON (11TH) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Harrison (11th) District at 3601 W. Chicago Ave. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31st, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1st, 2015.

DUI STRIKE FORCE PATROL – TOWN HALL (19TH) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting DUI Strike Force Patrol in the Town Hall (19th) District this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 2th, 2015.
Southside Man Charged in Commercial Building Fire
Eric HOWARD was positively identified as the person who was observed entering a secured building’s stairway at 3200 N. Sheffield on July 28th at 11:55 am, then exiting after a fire occurred. Ohio Man Charged with Aggravated Fleeing
Joseph Demmitt was arrested for reckless driving, as well as aggravated fleeing, when he refused to stop for traffic signals on July 29, 2015, at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 800 block of North Halsted St. The offender’s reckless driving caused two separate accidents. 30Jul15 Charges for Demmitt, Joseph
