Community Alert – Wanted for Residential Burglaries – 004th District (South Chicago)
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 004th District (South Chicago) an increase in reported residential burglaries. During the month of August, six residential burglaries were reported in the area extending from East End Ave and Constance between 76th and 79th Street. In each of these incidents, the offenders gained access to the residence via a side or rear window.

Business Alert – Wanted for Commercial Burglaries – 004th District (South Chicago)
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 004th District (South Chicago) of seven, potentially related commercial burglaries which have been reported this year. The incidents have primarily occurred at retail establishments along Ewing Avenue between 94th and 106th Street. The burglaries were first reported in January with the most recent having occurred on 18 August. In each incident, the offenders made forced entry into the locations by shattering either the windows or doors. Once inside, currency was removed from the registers and change jars.
Community Alert – Wanted for Motor Vehicle Theft – 017th District (Albany Park)
A 2013 Ford Econoline 100 Van was recently stolen overnight from the area of Irving Park Road and Kimball. The van contained numerous handmade Turkish Carpets/Rugs of varying colors and sizes. The van is white in color with Texas License plates CLS2133.
Community Alert – Robbery – 1st District (Central) & 18th District (Near North)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 1st (Central) and 18th (Near North) Districts of robbery related incidents during the month of August. Offenders were driving a newer model, small hatch back, black or dark blue in color. The driver was wearing a white shirt in both incidents. Offenders displayed a black handgun in both incidents.
Community Alert – Vehicular Hijacking – 15th District (Austin)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 15th District (Austin) of Robbery/Vehicular Hijacking related incidents that have occurred during the month of August. In these incidents two male black offenders who are armed with handguns, approach victim and rob them of their personal property and take the victims vehicle.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 015th District (Austin) of an increase in Armed Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of July and August. In these incidents, an unknown offender approaches victims from behind, brandishes a handgun and robs victim of their property.

Community Alert – Robbery – 001st District (Central)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 001st District (Central) of robbery related incidents during the month of August. Unknown male black offenders have approached victims while walking on sidewalk. The offenders then punched or knocked victims to the ground. Offenders continued to kick their victim or hold their victim on the ground while co-offenders took wallets from the victim’s pants pocket, or stole computer devices from victim’s possession.

Business Alert – Commercial Burglaries – 017th District (Albany Park)
There have been two recent Commercial Burglaries of Restaurants in the 017th District. In these cases, an unknown offender shattered the front glass door with a hammer, and entered the restaurants. In one incident the offender took the cash register but in the incident that occurred on August 18th, the offender noticed the cash register drawer was open and empty, and did not take any property.
