Chicago Police Enforcers Football Team
Kicks Off 2017 Season
The Chicago Police Football Team, the “Enforcers,” is entering their 12th season in the
National Public Safety Football League, which is made up of twenty two teams from all over
the country. This year head coach Greg Zaragoza is welcoming two dozen new and exciting
players to the team. The Enforcers are made up primarily of sworn members of the Chicago
Police Department but also have players who are members of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office
as well as other local law enforcement agencies. The Enforcers are a recognized 501c3
charitable organization and play to raise money for various local charities. Over their first
eleven seasons the Enforcers have raised approximately $130,000 for those charities. The
NPSFL plays full contact football following NCAA rules.
The Enforcers annual kick-off party is this Sunday, March 5th at 115 Bourbon Street in
Merrionette Park, which starts at 3 pm.
The Enforcers’ first game of the season is Saturday March 25th @ the St. Louis Heat who is
the Enforcers newest regional rival. The highlight of the season will be April 8th when the
Enforcers travel to Los Angeles to play the NPSFL championship runner up LAPD Centurion’s.
Also the Enforcers will host the NPSFL D II champion Central Texas Wolfpack in their annual
“Gold Star Game” on Saturday May 6th the game honors members of CPD who paid the
ultimate sacrifice. The regular season concludes with the “First Responders Memorial
Game” vs. the Chicago Fire Department Blaze on Sunday June 4th.
The Enforcers are coming off a successful 3-2 season in 2016. The Enforcers are looking
forward to making a run at another National Championship. Media members are welcome at all
Enforcers events.

About the Crime:
This alert gives notice of multiple Armed Robberies that occurred at businesses in
the 014th, 016th, 017th and 025th Districts on March 4th, 2017. Two offenders entered
the businesses, displayed a handgun and took money. The offenders fled the scene
in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle. Incident times and locations are listed below:
• 6500 Block of West Belmont Avenue on March 4th, 2017 at 2:07 am.
• 3200 Block of West Diversey Avenue on March 4th, 2017 at 2:55 am.
• 4300 Block of West Irving Park Road on March 4th, 2017 at 3:15 am.
• 3000 Block of North Pulaski Road on March 4th, 2017 at 3:41 am.
About the Offenders:
• Male White Hispanic, 18 to 40 years-old, 5’04 to 5’08, 170-200 pounds
• Male White Hispanic, 18 to 40 years-old, 5’03 to 5’08, 130-150 pounds
What you can do:
• Report suspicious activity immediately
• If you confront an assailant remain calm
• Remember any unique physical characteristics (ie., scars, limp, acne, teeth)
• Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to the police
• If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information
• Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on scene when possible

About This Crime
This alert gives notice to residents of the 002nd District (Wentworth) of a Criminal Sexual Abuse
incident that occurred on the 5100 block of Cornell Ave on March 4, 2017 at approximately 7:45
a.m. A male juvenile was walking when an unknown offender walked up to the victim, engaged
him in conversation and then touched the victim inappropriately.
About The Offender
• Male Black, 30-40 years old, 5’11’, 200 lbs, light complexion with a gray goatee, wearing a
beige jacket, dark pants and black hat.
What You Can Do
• Always be aware of your surroundings
• Walk in pairs or groups
• Dial 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity immediately
• Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to the police

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 003rd District (Grand Crossing)
of robbery related incidents have occurred during the month of February in the
vicinity of:
• 6200 Block of S. Michigan Ave. on February 21, 2017 at approximately 9:09
P.M
• 6200 Block of S. Michigan Ave. on February 23, 2017 at approximately 1:54
P.M.
• 6200 Block of S. Indiana Ave. on February 28, 2017 at approximately 1:11

The Offender (s) approaches the victims and announces a robbery while displaying
or implying a weapon. Detectives are seeking information from anyone with
knowledge of these offenders.

About This Crime
This alert gives notice to residents of the 009th District (Deering) of a public indecency
Incident that occurred near the 500 block of West 31st St. on February 27, 2017 at
approximately 4:20 p.m. A female 13 years old was walking, when an unknown
offender, drove up, engaged the victim in conversation, exposed himself, and began
touching himself inappropriately.
About The Offender
• Male Hispanic, Dark complexion. marks on his face, 25-35 years old and spoke
with a heavy accent
Vehicle Description
• Black newer model, 4 door vehicle

• Walk in pairs or groups
