On Monday, July 4, 2016, at approximately 9:15 p.m., a 61-year-old male was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in the 2600 block of West Peterson Avenue. As a result of the crash, the victim sustained critical injuries. The driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene west on Peterson Av. then north on Talman Av. after the crash without identifying them self or rendering aid to the victim.
12 Jul 16 Wanted for Leaving the Scene of a Crash 24th District
Area North Detectives are seeking to identify these individuals who were involved in a Homicide which occurred on April 7, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the 3400 block of W. Chicago Ave. During this incident, the offenders approached the victims on foot and one offender displayed a handgun and fired several shots. A 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were struck and fatally wounded.

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 005th District (Calumet) of an Attempted Child Abduction that occurred on July 11, 2016 at approximately 9:15 a.m. on the 13400 block of South Indiana. The juvenile victim was on his way to summer school when a newer model Jeep pulled curbside and demanded that the victim get into the vehicle. The victim got into the offenders vehicle and the offender drove east on 134th street and then pulled into an alley. When the offender attempted to sexually assault the victim, he made good his escape and advised his parents of the incident.
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 6th District (Gresham) of an Armed Robbery at a bank on the 200 block West 83rd Street at approximately 1:15 a.m. The offender approached the victim from behind in the ATM drive up, displayed a handgun and demanded the victims’ money. After receiving the proceeds, the offender fled the location on foot.

This alert gives notice to citizens of the 6th District (Gresham) of an Armed Robbery around the vicinity of the 1700 block of West 79th Street. In this incident, two male blacks entered the business, displayed a firearm, and announced a robbery. One offender demanded the register to be opened and proceeded to remove money from the cash register. The offenders then fled the location on foot.
On June 26, 2016 two females were walking on the 8400 block of South Stony Island Avenue at approximately 3:40 a.m. when an unknown male approached and engaged the females in conversation. The offender continued to follow the victims as they walked away. The females proceeded to enter their vehicle at which time the offender produced a firearm. The offender entered the vehicle and ordered the victims to drive to an unspecified location where he then forced them to perform sexual acts.

This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of burglary incidents which have occurred during the month of June. In these incidents, offender(s) gain entry through a side door/garage door and take property from therein.
On June 21, 2016, at approximately 6:45 pm, a 26 year old female victim was recording an engagement video outside the Trump Hotel at 401 N Wabash Ave. The pictured offender, in camouflage pants, pushed the victim to the ground and took her video camera and tripod. The offender then fled on foot, westbound from the scene, with a second male.
