About the crime:
This alert gives notice to businesses in the 008th District of robbery incidents which have occurred during the months of May and June. In these incidents, the offenders order a car service, produce a handgun, and demand the driver’s money and cellular phone. Incident times and locations are listed below:
- 7100 Block of S. Bell Ave. on May 18, 2015 at approximately 7:40 P.M.
- 6800 Block of S. Oakley Ave. on June 2, 2015 at approximately 3:20 A.M.
Offender descriptions vary, but are generally described as:
2 to 3 Male blacks, 16-23 years of age, 5’8″-5’9″, 150-180 lbs.
