The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol in the Near North (18th) District this weekend.
Chicago Police are seeking to identify the pictured individual who is the offender in a burglary that occurred at approximately 3:00a.m. on February 5, 2017 in the 1000 block of North Clark. As the victim was sleeping, the pictured offender opened her unlocked door and entered her apartment, taking numerous credit cards and money.
On Monday, January 30th, 2017, at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Fullerton Ave., an unknown offender attempted to lure a 10yr old and 7yr old female (walking together) to his van. The victims were returning home in the evening when they noticed a van that appeared to be identical to a van they saw near their home in the morning that same day.Comm Alert Att Child Luring JA136380 018 District

South Side Man Charged with Attempted Murder
Offender: Clifton Banks, 36
Residence: 8700 Block of S. Emerald Ave.
Charges: Two Felony Counts – Attempt Murder – First Degree
Court : Central Bond Court – 2600 S. California Avenue – January 30, 2017
Narrative: Banks was arrested after being positively identified as the offender who fired a
weapon striking a 39 yr old male in the head and a 30 yr old male in the left leg
after being involved in a verbal and physical altercation in the 1200 block of N.
State, on January 28, 2017 at approximately 3:27 a.m. The victims were
transported to Northwestern Sinai Hospital and were listed in stable condition.
Banks was located by responding officers on the scene and charged accordingly.
A second suspect who was questioned in this incident has been released without
charging. No further information is available at this time.

Kyle Hawkins was arrested and charged in connection to a fatal hit and run traffic crash that occurred at approx. 4:00 am on November 20, 2016 on the 800 block of North LaSalle Ave.
Area Central Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a Strong-Arm Robbery incident which occurred on October 26, 2016 at approximately 12:00 p.m. on the CTA Redline train at Clybourn. As the train was in motion, this female black approached the victim and tried to take her cell phone by force. When this female offender was unsuccessful in taking the victims cell phone, she then pulled the victim by the hair causing the victim to fall from her seat in an attempt to drag the victim from the train. The offender then fled at the Clybourn stop with two other female blacks and one female white.
On November 20, 2016 at 4:01 A.M. a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at 800 N. LaSalle. The 23 year old man was struck by the below described vehicle.
