Continuing its work to fight crime and hold gang members accountable, the Chicago Police Department conducted on Wednesday its latest raid against violent criminal street gangs – this time striking at three gangs, and arresting 27 offenders on felony drug charges.
Each offender arrested in the raid was listed on Chicago Police Department’s Strategic Subject List.
Conducted in the 19th Police District, detectives say these gangs have been associated with the recent spike in violence. For More Information Click Here

CHICAGO – The Chicago Police Department’s Bureau of Organized Crime recently conducted a targeted mission to combat crime and violence in the 7th (Englewood), 8th(Chicago Lawn) and 9th(Deering) Districts. This mission was initiated at the behest of Interim Superintendent Johnson, due to the spike in violence in these targeted areas.
“The Chicago Police Department will continue to implement practices and missions aimed at reducing the crime and violence in our communities,” stated Interim Superintendent Johnson. “Enforcement missions, such as this one, will be part of an ongoing initiative to help further reduce the ability of gangs to inflict harm in Chicago’s neighborhoods.” For More Information Click Here

Chicago Police Narcotics Officers executed a search warrant on November 19, 2015, at approximately 9:50 pm on the 3800 block of W. Diversey which rendered weapons, cash and narcotics. Officers recovered a large quantity of narcotics and over $51,000 USC. In addition, Officers recovered 6 handguns, 2 shotguns with modified pistol-grips, and 2 military-style assault rifles as part of an on-going investigation. Jonathan Dieball was taken into custody on the scene and charged accordingly.
