On Monday, January 30, 2017, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a white colored Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on Central Park Avenue was struck by a silver colored Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan traveling eastbound on Garfield Square Drive at a high rate of speed.
Area Central Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a Strong-Arm Robbery incident which occurred on October 26, 2016 at approximately 12:00 p.m. on the CTA Redline train at Clybourn. As the train was in motion, this female black approached the victim and tried to take her cell phone by force. When this female offender was unsuccessful in taking the victims cell phone, she then pulled the victim by the hair causing the victim to fall from her seat in an attempt to drag the victim from the train. The offender then fled at the Clybourn stop with two other female blacks and one female white.
This update, based on these recently acquired video stills, reminds retail, restaurant, and office building management operating in the 001st District (Central), of an unknown offender who is forcibly entering office buildings through main floor retail stores or restaurants. The offender is forcing open revolving doors or windows with the intent to take laptop computers, cameras, cell phones and other electronics. The offender has breached street level doors during the daytime, then returned hours later to complete the burglary.
Incident #1: On September 6, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. a student at Loyola University was walking in the 6500 block of N. Kenmore when she felt somebody touch her buttocks from behind. When the victim turned she observed the offender ride in a northwesterly direction on a bicycle.
Incident #2: On September 7, 2016 at 9:05 a.m. a faculty member from Loyola University was walking alone to work at approximately 1600 W. Greenleaf when an unknown male approached her from behind on a bicycle and grabbed her buttocks. The offender then fled in an unknown direction.
Incident #3: On September 7, 2016 at 12:30 a.m. a student at Loyola University was walking home from the school library at approximately 6300 block of N. Winthrop when she was approached from behind by the offender who was riding a bicycle. As the offender approached her, he touched her buttocks. The offender then rode by her a second time and touched her breast. The offender then fled northbound on Winthrop on the bicycle.
Incident #4: On September 18, 2016 at 10:30 p.m. a student at Loyola University was walking on the 6300 block of N. Winthrop when she passed two male subjects leaning on the fence in front of one of the school’s buildings. One of the two males walked up to her and touched her buttocks. The males then walked away from the area.
About the Crime:
On August 28, 2016 between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., an unknown male approached the 5-year-old female juvenile victim and made inappropriate sexual contact with her.
On August 1st, 2016, at approximately 4:11 pm, the pictured offender sat next to a male victim on board a CTA Green Line train, pointed a handgun at him and demanded his phone. The victim complied and the offender fled off the train at the 63rd )Street platform.

On July 11, 2016, at approximately 8:55 a.m., a 12-year-old female victim was walking northbound on the 500 block on N. Monticello Ave. when she noticed that an unknown male white, driving a silver minivan was following her.
