occurred on July 8th and July 10th. In these incidents, the offenders approached the
victims from behind and used force to rob them.
South Side Man Charged in September 2014 Murder
Joshua Ford was arrested in connection to a murder that occurred September 21st, 2014 on the 7700 block of South Stewart Ave at approx. 2:40 am.

Robberies have occurred in the 15th District in which the offenders displayed a
handgun and demanded the victims’ belongings. Incident times and location are

Community Alert – Burglaries
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 011th District (Area North) of an
increase in Burglary related incidents that have occurred during the month of June.
In these incidents, an unknown offender(s) used force to make entry via the rear and
side windows of the residences and removed electronics and personal items.

Community Alert – Wanted for Theft / Burglary
Self proclaimed members of the “Sovereign” or “Sovereign Citizen” movement have
engaged in property ownership and/or takeover schemes in the Chicago area
whereby residences are taken over and illegally occupied. The “Sovereign” or
“Sovereign Citizen” movement consists of people who do not believe they are
subject to the laws of our government. After a lengthy investigation, felony arrest
warrants were obtained for four subjects for theft, burglary, and other crimes. Two of
the subjects have been located and arrested and the two offenders depicted are still
at large.

Community Alert – Robberies
Two recent Robberies have occurred in which the offenders rob a victim after
answering an advertisement placed on Craig’s List. In both cases, the victim had
placed an I-Phone or Apple Watch for sale on Craig’s List. The offenders made
contact with the victim and a meeting was arranged. When the offenders meet with
the victim, the offenders battered the victim with their fists and took property from the
victim.
Community Alert – Robberies
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 012th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred on Beat 1231 during the month of July. In these incidents, three offenders approach the victims and rob them of personal items. In one incident the offenders displayed a firearm.
Community Alert – Wanted for Robbery
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 11th District (Harrison) of two recent robberies.
In the first incident, the victim was walking and the offender approached from behind and
grabbed the victim’s purse. The offender also asked for the victim’s jewelry and struck her
with a closed fist and took her necklace and earrings. In the second incident, the victim was
waiting at a bus stop and the offender grabbed her purse and pushed her to the ground.
The offender fled the scene on foot in both incidents.
South Side Man Charged after Striking Juvenile with Vehicle
Davis was arrested and charged after he was identified as the offender who, on July 2nd, 2015 at approximately 5:25 pm, drove a vehicle across a sports field located on the 1800 block of E. 76th Street, striking a 10 year old male juvenile in the process.
