FBI Chicago seeks assistance in identifying two suspected Bank Robbers:
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 006th District (Gresham) of several armed robberies that have occurred between 23 August 2015 and 23 September 2015. In these incidents, one to three unknown male black offenders approached the victims, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash, cellular phones, and various other personal items of value.
On the afternoon of September 24, 2015 a young man was leaning over a guard rail along the State Street Bridge, enjoying the view of the Chicago River. The young man suffered a panic attack, lost his balance, and fell into the water. A tour boat operator observed the victim struggling to stay above water, and immediately notified the CPD Marine Unit via ship to shore radio (Channel 16). Officers on M7 responded and within minutes were able to pull the young man from the cold river. Because of the Marine Unit’s quick response the young man only suffered a bit of shock and hypothermia and was treated at an area hospital.
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 016th District (Jefferson Park) of several garage burglaries that have occurred in the month of September 2015. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) made entry into residential garages and took property.
On Thursday, September 24, 2015 at approximately 10:12 a.m., on the 5000 block of S. Kostner Avenue, a 35-yr-old female was approached by a male White Hispanic offender driving an unidentified S.U.V. type vehicle, dark blue in color. The offender grabbed the victim and forced her into his vehicle. The victim fought off the offender and fled the scene.
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Wentworth (2nd) District at the intersection of Garfield Blvd and Perry Ave. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26th, 2015.
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol along Lake Shore Drive this weekend. The DUI Strike Force Patrol will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 27th, 2015.
On September 20, 2015 at approximately 4:00 p.m., an unknown Hispanic male offender exposed himself from the alley to a female victim while she was with her 3- year-old daughter in a park located in the 2800 block of N. Avondale Avenue.
