This alert gives notice to citizens of the 004th District (South Chicago) of two armed robberies which have occurred in the area extending from Dobson Avenue east to Greenwood Avenue, between 91st and 92nd Street. In each incident, the victims were seated in their vehicles when the offenders approached, produced a chrome or silver plated firearm, and robbed the victims of their valuables.
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 004th District (South Chicago) of two robberies reported in the 7600 block of South Exchange on the same date. In each incident, an offender either displayed a firearm or implied that he was armed.

One offender displays a dark colored handgun, while the other offender(s) takes property from the victim. In one case, there were 2 males and a female offender who fled the scene in a small 4 door white sedan. The offenders take cell phones, wallets, and USC.
Bank Robberies have recently occurred in the 19th and 20th Districts. In these incidents a female offender robbed a bank located inside a grocery store. The offender presented a demand note and stated that she had a lookout. As of the latest bank robbery no weapon had been displayed.

This alert gives notice to citizens in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of robbery incidents which have occurred during the months of August and September. In these incidents, offenders approached the victims from behind before demanding and/or forcibly removing their property.
Wilford was charged with the above offense after he accidentally shot a family member while handling a gun on September 2, 2015, in the 7400 block of S. St. Lawrence at approximately 9:00 pm. The victim, an 11-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to University of Chicago Comer Hospital where he was pronounced.
