Community Alert – Residential Burglaries – 4th District (South Chicago)
This alert gives notice to residents of the South Chicago (4th) District of a dramatic increase in residential burglaries reported on Beat 421, particularly in the area extending from 76th Street south to 79th Street between Yates and Colfax.
CPD News Release: Search Warrant Renders Collection of Weapons, Cash, and Narcotics
Chicago Police Narcotics Officers executed a search warrant on November 19, 2015, at approximately 9:50 pm on the 3800 block of W. Diversey which rendered weapons, cash and narcotics. Officers recovered a large quantity of narcotics and over $51,000 USC. In addition, Officers recovered 6 handguns, 2 shotguns with modified pistol-grips, and 2 military-style assault rifles as part of an on-going investigation. Jonathan Dieball was taken into custody on the scene and charged accordingly.

Business Alert – Commercial Armed Robberies – 25th District (Grand & Central)
This alert gives notice of two Armed Robberies of commercial businesses in the 025th District in the 6000 block of W. North Avenue. In each incident, the offender displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register.

Community Alert – Residential Burglaries – 25th District (Grand & Central)
This alert gives notice to Residential Burglaries that have occurred in the area from Austin to Oak Park, and North Ave. to Armitage, in the 025th District. In the month of November, there have been 3 burglaries to residences in which the offender(s) entered the residence by forcibly opening a door, or the offender entered through an unlocked window.

About the crime:
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of several burglaries that have occurred. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) have entered apartments and residences, through windows or doors, and have taken electronics, cash, and other miscellaneous items.
Incident times and locations:
There have been several incidents that have occurred since October 28, 2015. These incidents have taken place on Beat 1614, within the boundaries of East River Road to Canfield and Higgins to Irving Park Road, at various hours of the day.
- 5200 block of N. Potawatomie on October 28, 2015 between 6:00 PM – 7:12 PM
- 5400 block of N. East River Road, on November 13-14, 2015 between 9:00 AM – 11:20 AM
- 8500 block of W. Catalpa on November 15, 2015 at 3:00 PM
- 8500 block of W. Carmen on November 16, 2015 between 7:00 PM – 9:35 PM
