Halloween Celebration – October 30, 2015 – 025th District Grand Central
The 025th District Police Officers celebrated Halloween with members of the community by hosting a haunted house inside the 025th District community room and passing out bags of treats. Over 100 community members and their children participated in the event.
Community Alert – Robberies in the 012th District (Near West)
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 012th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred in the 12th District during the month of November. In these incidents, two offenders approach the victim on the street and rob the victim of personal property by either knocking the victim down or implying he has a gun. Incident times and locations are listed below:
- 600 block of North Ashland on Nov 03, 2015 at approximately 1:00 A.M.
- 800 block of North Paulina on Nov 05, 2015 at approximately 6:00 P.M.
- 2700 block of West Washington on Nov 05, 2015 at approximately 7:00 P.M.
Community Alert – Wanted for Attempt Kidnapping – 011th District (Harrison)
On November 6, 2015, at approximately 8:20 a.m., a 13-year-old female was walking on the 4000 block of West Adams when an unknown offender exited a vehicle and approached the victim on foot. The offender then grabbed the victim by her left arm at which time she was able to free herself from his grasp and run to safety. The offender fled in an unknown direction.
Community Alert – Sex Offense – 8th District (Chicago Lawn)
This alert gives notice to the residents in the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of Sex Offenses-Public Indecency incidents which have occurred during the month of November. In these incidents, the offender approached the 17-year-old female victims at the lip of the alley in his vehicle (possibly a newer 4-door Black Nissan) and exposed himself.
Community Alert – Theft from Auto- 009th District (Deering)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 009th District (Deering) of theft incidents that occurred during the month of November. In these incidents, offender(s) cut catalytic converters off of cars parked on the street. These incidents have occurred at various hours of the day.
Business Alert – Commercial Burglaries – 22nd District (Morgan Park)
This alert gives notice to businesses in the Morgan Park (22nd) District of three recent Burglaries to Businesses that occurred in the Beverly neighborhood. In these incidents, an offender used a pry tool to force his way into businesses on Western Avenue between the 10400 and 10600 blocks. The offender emptied cash registers and searched the property for cash. The burglaries occurred around midnight.
Community Alert – Burglaries – 11th District (Harrison)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 011th District (Harrison) of Residential Burglary related incidents that have occurred during the month of October and November. In these incidents, an offender used force to enter residences, and once inside took Televisions, computers, United States Currency, jewelry/precious metals, and personal items.

Community Alert – Robberies – 011th District (Harrison)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 011th District (Harrison) of robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of October. In these incidents, an offender(s) used force and the threat of force by displaying a handgun (revolver), and taking cell phones, and USC from citizens on the street.
