The above offender has been charged in connection to a murder that occurred in the 3200 Block of W. 83rd Pl on June 04, 2016 at approximately 12:00 p.m. Holman called for medical assistance for an unresponsive 2 month old. Further investigation revealed the infant to have not notable bruising to the arms and neck and the infant to have been deceased for sometime. Holman is the father of the infant.
In this incident offenders attempted to take the victim’s cell phone; when the victim refused to give up her cell phone an offender stabbed her in the abdomen. The female victim, 36, was taken to Christ Hospital in stable condition. Detectives learned the offenders may have been connected to a previous robbery in which a vehicle was used. Officers located the vehicle, and subsequently conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 Block of South Kostner on June 4, 2016 at 11:51 p.m., placing all offenders into custody. About the Crime:
On Sunday, June 5, 2016, at approximately 7:30pm, on the 3000 block of South Kedvale Ave, an unknown male attempted to lure a 16-year-old female.
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 002nd District (Wentworth) of robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of May. In these incidents, two offenders approached the victims, produced a handgun and demanded personal property before fleeing the area. In both instances, offenders threatened to shoot the victims. In one instance, the offender fired the handgun in the direction of the victim.
The above offender has been charged in connection to a robbery attempt that occurred in the 600 Block of N. Lake Shore Drive on May 29, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Dodd approached the victims, a 32-year-old female and a 43-year-old male, and announced a robbery. The offender chased the victims as co-arrestee Semaj Waters pointed a handgun in their direction. The victims attempted to flee across Lake Shore Drive and were struck by a vehicle causing the fatality of the female victim and injuries to the male victim. Jeremy Givens was arrested after he was identified as the person who fatally stabbed a 42 year old man. This incident occurred on December 24, 2015 at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of W. 111th Pl. Given was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim when he stabbed the victim in the chest. He was taken to Christ Hospital where he was later pronounced. Givens was charged accordingly. Male juvenile was arrested after it was learned that he pointed a firearm at the juvenile victim and fired the weapon this occurred on the 3500 block of S. Parnell Ave. on June 3, 2016 at approximately 11:37 a.m. A 16 year old male victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest, and was pronounced on scene. The juvenile male was charged accordingly. No additional information is available at this time.
