11 May 18-Community Alert 19th District Wanted for Attempt Kidnapping Child Luring
On Thursday May 10, 2018 at approximately 3:05 P.M., a 15 year old female juvenile was waiting at a bus stop in the 2400 block of North Cannon Drive when a male white Hispanic in a newer model black Mercedes 4-door vehicle with unknown plate pulled up and told her “why don’t you get into my car and I’ll drive you home” and “I’m not a bad person.”  In fear, the victim ran to a nearby museum and called her father.  Offender fled in unknown direction

This alert gives notice in the 012th District (Near West) of robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of MayIn these incidents, the offender(s) approach the victim(s) while armed with a handgun and demand/take the victim’s property by force.  These incidents have occurred in the geographical locations listed below.

10 May 18 - Community Alert- 009th District Robberies
This alert gives notice to residents in the 9th District (Deering) of armed robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of May.  In these incidents, unknown offenders approached the victim displayed a weapon and demanded their personal property, in one incident; the victim’s vehicle was taken.

09 May 18 Community Alert RD_JB256255 Attempt Kidnapping
On May 9, 2018 at 8:30 AM a female juvenile related to Julian High School Officers that on May 1, 2018 at 7:45 AM a gray Dodge Caravan drove up to the female juvenile at W. 101ST Street and S. Union Avenue as she was walking to Julian High School. The offender stated to the female juvenile “You’re so pretty, why don’t you get in the car and I’ll drive you to school”. The female juvenile approached another student who was walking to school and the offender drove away.

9 May 18-Community Alert-Armed Robbery-22nd District
This alert gives notice of an armed robbery that occurred within the boundaries of the 22nd district in the Beverly neighborhood. In this case, the two pictured offenders followed a victim out of a grocery store, displayed a weapon and demanded property.  The offenders fled in a small silver Ford vehicle.
