This alert gives notice to residents in the 16^th District (Jefferson Park) of several garage burglaries that have occurred on Beat 1613, since July 29, 2018. In these incidents, the unknown offender(s) gained entry by forcibly kicking or prying open the side door(s) or service door(s). The offender(s) also gained entry through unlocked side doors and took the victims’ property.

This alert gives notice of recent vehicular hijackings that have occurred in the 11^th District. In each incident the offenders approached the victims in their cars and ordered them out of their cars at gunpoint. The offenders then fled the scene with the victims’ vehicles.

This alert gives notice of recent thefts of vehicle catalytic converters that have occurred in the 19^th District. In each incident, the unknown offender(s) stole the catalytic converters off of the victim’s vehicle(s).  The offender(s) committed these acts while the vehicles were parked on residential streets during overnight hours.

In each incident, the unknown offender(s) stole the rims and tires off of the victim’s vehicle(s).  The offender(s) committed these acts while the vehicles were parked on residential streets during overnight hours.  Honda vehicles are a recurring target.
