23- Sep-2018 - Community Alert Armed Robberies P18-02-075CA NP

This alert gives notice to two recent Armed Robberies that have occurred in the Englewood neighborhood on beat 723. In these incidents, an unknown offender entered the businesses and displayed a chrome & black handgun to the cashier and demanded money from the register.  After the offender received the money, he exited that businesses and fled on foot.

22 Sep 18 Community Alert 10th Distrcit Motor Vehicle Thefts P18-1-292CA
This alert gives notice in the 010th District (Ogden) of Motor Vehicle Theft incidents which have occurred during the month of September. In these incidents, offender attempts to take or takes parked Dodge Caravan vehicles off the street by peeling steering column or pulling ignition.  These incidents have occurred in the geographical locations listed below.

21 Sep 18 - MAIU 17th District pulaski and kennedy update
On Saturday, September 1st, 2018 at about 9:30 p.m., a male pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle in the block of 3900 N. Pulaski Road. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene to render aid and exchange information. A dark colored SUV was reportedly seen passing this location at the time of the impact. This is an area with high volume of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Service roads in this area allow access north to Irving Park Road and south to enter the Kennedy Expressway, along with an entrance to the CTA Blue Line Train Station. The Chicago Police Department needs the help of the community to solve this Hit and Run.

20 Sep 18 - 25th District Community Alert Armed Robbery
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 25th District (Grand Central) of recent Armed Robberies that have occurred on beat 2535 and 2534. In these incidents, 2 unknown offenders approached the victim, displayed a firearm, and proceeded to rob the victim of personal belongings. Additionally, in one incident the offenders also demanded the victim’s car keys, but were unsuccessful in obtaining said keys. Also, in one of these incidents the offenders were able to take the victim’s vehicle.
