26 OCT 18- 004th District Community Alert- Attempt Child Luring- jb488207
On October 24, 2018, at approximately 7:30am, a 14 year old male was waiting on the bus stop when an unknown offender told the victim to get in his car. The unknown offender attempted to lure the 14 year old victim by telling him he would take him to another bus stop or drop him off at another location. The offender never exited the vehicle and fled the area when an unknown witness threatened to call the police. No injuries were reported during this incident.

25 OCT 18 - Broadview Man Charged with Home Invasion 1300 Block of North Bell
 
Johnson was taken into custody on October 25th 2018 at approximately 9:45 a.m. in the 2500 Block of South 14th St. in Broadview, IL  after he was identified as the offender who, while armed with a knife, forced his way into a home in the 1300 Block of North Bell on May 28th 2018 at approximately 12:54 a.m. and stabbed a 24 year-old-female victim in the leg. The victim was transported to St Mary’s Hospital in stable condition. No further information at this time.

This alert gives notice to recent Attempted Strong Arm Robberies that have occurred in the 019th District.  In these incidents, the offender approached the victim(s) on the street and asked for money.  When the victim(s) refused, the offender threatened the victim(s) and demanded their property. 25 OCT 18- 003rd District Community Alert- Burglaries- P18-1-303ACA
On October 24, 2018 at approximately 6:00 p.m., a juvenile female was walking northbound from the 3200 block of North Narragansett Avenue when an unknown male offender jogging southbound on Narragansett Avenue touched the juvenile victim inappropriately about her body as he ran passed her. The offender fled in an alley located on the 6400 block of West School Street and continued to watch the juvenile victim. The juvenile female victim saw the offender staring in her direction, at which time the offender fled eastbound on School Street.

23 Oct 18 - Robberies P18-N-265 3rd District (Grand Crossing) NP

This alert gives notice to businesses in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of October. In these incidents, the offender posed as a client and asked the victims (taxi drivers) to drive him to several locations, after being picked up from the 6900 block of S. Wabash Ave.  When the victims became uncomfortable with the offender’s requests (such as use of victim’s cell phone) offender implied that he had a weapon and took their property.
