12 Nov 18 - Community Alert 22nd District Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault
On November 12, 2018 at approximately 12:35 pm, a 16 year old female was walking on the 109th block of South Michigan Avenue when the offender drove up and engaged her in conversation. The offender pulled the victim into his vehicle and displayed a blunt instrument. The offender drove the victim to an alley in the 113th block of South Morgan where he sexually assaulted and robbed her.

In these incidents, offender(s) gain entry into residences and take property from therein. These incidents have occurred at various hours of the day in the general geographical locations listed below:
12 Nov 18 - Community Alert 20th District Aggravtaed Vehicular Hijacking
This alert gives notice to two recent Aggravated Vehicular Hijackings that have occurred within the boundaries of the 20th District (Lincoln). In these incidents, the offender(s) approach the victims while they are alone in their stopped vehicle. Offender(s) then order the victim out of the vehicle, while displaying a handgun or physically pulling the victim from the vehicle.

This alert gives notice to businesses in the 009th District (Deering) of robbery related incidents which have occurred during the month of November. In these incidents, the offenders enter businesses and demand their property. Incident times and locations are listed below:
11 Nov 18 - Community Alert - Vehicular Hijackings 12th District
This alert gives notice to residents of the 012th District (Near West) of recently reported vehicular hijackings on beats 1212 and 1221. The victims are standing near their vehicles when the offender(s) approach, display a handgun or implies that he is armed, takes the victim’s car keys, and flees the area with the victim’s vehicle. In one case, the offender is accompanied by other offenders who also enter the victim’s vehicle.
11 Nov 18 - Business Alert Commerical Business Burglary 012th Dist
This alert gives notice to businesses operating in the 012th District (Near West) of burglary related incidents which have occurred during the month of November. In these incidents, an offender forcefully enters commercial businesses through an exterior door/window. In one case, the offender may have entered through an unlocked door. The offender searches cash registers and attempts to open a safe.
11 Nov 18 Community Alert- Wanted for Home Invasion Criminal sexual assault 9th District (Deering) NPThis alert gives notice to the residents in the 9th District (Deering) of a home invasion and criminal sexual assault that occurred on Beat 922 in the 4300 Block of S. Richmond St., on November 11, 2018 between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. An unknown offender entered the victim’s residence, struck and choked the victim which caused the victim to lose consciousness. Offender then sexually assaulted the victim.
11 Nov 18 Business Alert- Strong Arm Robberies 14th District (Shakespeare), 18th District (Near North) and 19th District (Town Hall) NPThis alert gives notice to recent strong arm robberies of convenience stores that have occurred within the boundaries of the 14th, 18th and 19th District. In these incidents, two of the offenders approached the clerk in the convenience store, grabbed him, and forced him to open the cash register. The third offender entered the store and stayed guarding the front entrance. The offenders then took an unknown amount of US currency from the cash register and other merchandise before fleeing the scene.
10 Nov 18 - Business Alert -Armed Robberies 6th District (Auburn Gresham) & 7th District (Englewood) NPThis alert gives notice to three recent armed robberies at retail stores in the Auburn Gresham and Englewood neighborhoods on beats 614 and 711. In these incidents, two unknown offenders entered the retail stores, armed with a gun, and announced a robbery. The offenders then took an unknown amount of US currency from multiple cash registers and also, possibly, robbed customers of their property. The offenders were last seen fleeing on foot.
10 Nov 18 Community Alert- Strong Arm Robbery and Aggravated Robbery 15th District (Austin) NPThis alert gives notice to the residents in the 15th District (Austin) of two recent robberies, both of which occurred in the morning hours on November 4, 2018. In both incidents, lone female victims were approached by an offender on foot or bicycle. In one robbery, the offender approached the victim inside of her residential garage as she was preparing to enter her vehicle. The victim was shoved to the ground and her purse was taken by force. In the second robbery, the victim was approached by the offender who was riding a bicycle. The offender dismounted his bike, implied he was armed with a weapon and took the victim’s purse.
