This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 11th District (Harrison) of an increase in burglary related incidents that have occurred.  In these incidents, offenders burglarized rehabbed residences of property from within.

This alert gives notice to recent Residential Burglaries that have occurred within the boundaries of the 20th District (Lincoln). These burglaries have occurred within a couple blocks of each other. In these Burglaries, the offender(s) gained entry into the premises by forcing open windows and doors. Once inside, the offender(s) removed property from the apartment.

On Thursday, December 20, 2018, at approximately 3:15p.m., an 11-year-old female juvenile was walking home from school.  Upon walking northbound on the east side of Drake Ave., she was approached by a White or White Hispanic male driving an unknown white van with splattered yellow paint markings on the passenger side of the vehicle.  An unknown person lowered his passenger side window and signaled her to come to him with his hand while saying “come here” with the intention of luring her to him. The victim did not engage in conversation and fled to safety.  The unknown person fled northbound in the vehicle and then turned westbound on Elston Ave.

This alert gives notice to several burglaries that have occurred within the boundaries of the 19^th District (Town Hall).  In these burglaries, the offender(s) entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked door or through forcing open a window/door.  Once inside, the offender(s) took various items from the victim’s home.

This alert gives notice to recent Garage Burglaries that have occurred within the boundaries of the 19^th District.  In these burglaries, the offender(s) gained access to the residential garages that are being left unsecured or by other unknown means. Once inside, the offender(s) stole property from within or rummaged through the victim’s vehicle for proceeds.
