CPD COmmunity Alert - Robbery 12th District
This alert gives notice in the 012th District (Near West) of robbery incidents which have occurred during the month of December on Beat 1211.  In the first incident, an offender displays a handgun while seated in a blue Toyota while another occupant exits, strikes the victim in the face, and takes personal property.  The offenders flee the area in the above vehicle. In the second incident, an offender approaches the victim from behind, displays a black handgun with an extended magazine, walks the victim to an alley, and takes personal property.

18 Dec 18 Community Alert - 5th Dist
This alert gives notice to residents of the Calumet (5^th) District of recent garage burglaries that have occurred in the Roseland neighborhood on beat 512. In these incidents, offenders have forcibly entered residential garages taking tools, lawn equipment, and bicycles.  The offenders make entry through the side entry door.  Incidents occur during daytime hours when residents are at work.

18 Dec 18-Community Alert-11th District Armed Robberies
This alert gives notice of recent armed robberies that have occurred. In these incidents, offender(s) approached victims in the area near Congress/Pulaski in the 011^th District.  Offender(s) produced a small black snub pistol (in one case a knife as well). Offender(s) then robbed victims and fled the area on foot.  Times and locations are listed below:

18 DEC 18- Community Alert 014th Districts- Thefts from Vechiles P18-N-327
This alert gives notice to citizens in the 014^th District of recent related thefts from parked vehicles that have occurred. In these incidents, the unknown offender(s) entered the vehicle and took the victim’s property from inside the vehicle.  Both incidents occurred during the evening hours when it was dark outside.

18 Dec 18 - Community Alert - 017 Residential Burglaries - p18-n-322ca
This alert gave notice of recent burglaries that occurred within the boundaries of the 017^th District (Albany Park) on beat 1711. In each incident, the unknown offender(s) pried open the front door or basement door of the residence and then entered and took property.
