25 FEB 19-Community Alert - 12th District (Near West) -Wanted for Attempt Armed Robbery JC-144803 NP

On February 8, 2019, at approximately 1:10 p.m., in the 2300 block of West Chicago Ave., the person pictured above was involved in an attempt armed robbery. The individual entered the business and started a conversation with the employee before delivering a note stating that she was armed with a gun and demanded property. She then fled west possibly on a CTA bus. The offender frequents the area of District 11 and District 12.

24 Feb 19-Community Alert- Kidnapping Luring 15th District(Austin)JC161675 NP

On Thursday February 21, 2019, at approximately 8:35 a.m., an 11-year-old female juvenile was walking in the 300 block of South Lavergne Ave. when an African-American male in a vehicle asked the victim for her name, motioned her over to the vehicle, asked for her phone number and where she was going. The juvenile, in fear, ran southbound.

22 Feb 19 - Chicago Man Charged With Criminal Sexual Abuse
 On February 22, 2019 Robert Kelly was taken into custody at the Chicago Police Departments 1st District located at 1718 S. State Street at approximately 8:14 p.m. after being indicted by a Grand Jury in Cook County.  No further details are available at this time.

22 Feb 19-business alert-3rd district burglaries
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 3rd District (Grand Crossing) of burglary incidents which have occurred during the month of February.  In these incidents, the offenders entered retail establishment store by prying boards that covered a broken door window and removed property therein.  These incidents have occurred in the geographical locations listed below:

This alert gave notice to the residents of the 25th District (Grand Central). In those incidents 1 to 2 offenders entered a Metro PCS phone store. While Armed with a handgun the offender(s) announced a robbery and demanded United States Currency (USC). The offender(s) proceed to rob the cell phone store of usc, and then flee.
