This alert gives notice to residents of the Morgan Park (22nd) District of recent theft from vehicle and motor vehicle theft incidents that occurred in the Beverly neighborhood. Unknown offender(s) have been walking during the early morning hours, pulling on car door handles. When the offender finds an unlocked vehicle, they enter the cars taking property from within. Incidents occur between 12am-6am. Two of these vehicles had car keys inside of them, which led to the offender stealing the car.

This alert gives notice to two recent Forcible Entry Burglaries of businesses. In both of these burglaries, two offenders entered the business with the use of a pry tool / crow bar. The offenders then took beauty products and cosmetics. The offenders then fled the area, in at least one instance, a white or silver pick-up truck.

These Motor Vehicle Thefts have occurred in the area from Thorndale to Bryn Mawr, and Winthrop to Sheridan. In these incidents, the vehicles are either left locked and parked on the street or left running unattended with the keys in the ignition.

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 25th District (Grand Central) of recent residential burglaries that have occurred on beat 2525. In these incidents an unknown offender made entry through the front window of the residence. Upon making entry the offender targeted and stole jewelry that was located in the victim’s bedroom.
