14 Feb 19 - Community Alert - Residential Burglaries 4th District ( South Chicago) P19-2-015 (CA) NP

This alert gives notice to eight recent residential burglaries that have occurred within the boundaries of the 4th District (South Chicago) in the South Shore neighborhood. In these cases, an unknown offender entered the apartments by kicking in a door and removed property from within.  Incidents occurred in the daytime while residents were at work.  The area targeted is between the 7500-7900 blocks of Yates to Marquette.

12 FEB 19- Community Alerts 018th District Auto Thefts P-19-1-047
This alert gives notice to residents in the 018th District of motor vehicle thefts that have occurred. In each of the incidents, the victim’s vehicle was parked and/or unoccupied, running with the keys in the ignition. An unknown offender drove up, exited dark colored Lexus or SUV, and entered the victim vehicle and drove away

12 FEB 19 Community Alert -Armed Robberies 25th District P19-N-042(CA) NP

This alert gives notice to the residents of the 25th District (Grand Central), specifically beat 2532, of recent Armed Robberies targeting Delivery Driver’s. In these incidents, an unknown offender ordered food to the area of Lemoyne and Latrobe. Upon the delivery driver’s arrival, the offender approached, produced a firearm, and robbed the victim of the food that was being delivered.

11 Feb 19 - Community Alert - Criminal Sexual Assault 11th District
On February 11th 2019, at approximately 2:10 a.m., the 32 year old victim while walking to purchase cigarettes observed an unknown black male following her from behind for several blocks.  The victim then related that the unknown black male disappeared.  The victim purchased her cigarettes from a house and proceeded to walk back the way she came.  The victim stated that she was grabbed from behind by the unknown male who was following her earlier.  The offender dragged the victim to the rear entrance of an abandoned building on the 1100 block of N. Keystone and forced her inside the premises.  The offender while in the building struck the victim with a closed fist to the left side of her head.  The offender then sexually assaulted the victim.  The offender fled in an unknown direction.  The victim returned to her friend’s house where she was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.
