09 feb 19 - Community Alert Burglary to Auto (012)
This alert gives notice in the 012th District (Near West) of theft related incidents which have occurred during the months of January and February on Beat 1214. In these incidents, the offender(s) are targeting parked vehicles with bags and electronics in plain sight. The offender(s) enter by breaking a window. Taken were computers, backpacks, and various personal items.

This alert gives notice to businesses operating in the 012th District (Near West) of burglary related incidents which have occurred during the month of January on Beat 1224. In these incidents, an offender forcefully enters commercial businesses through a window and steals merchandise from inside.

In these incidents, the offender made force entry to the business through the front door and took property from within.
08 Feb 19 - Community Alert- Aggravated Battery with a handgun 22nd District (Morgan Park) NP- JC144006Area South Detectives are seeking to identify the above vehicle pictured, and its occupant(s). The vehicle was used in an aggravated battery with a handgun in which a 1-year-old child was struck in the head. The aggravated battery occurred in the 9900 block of S. Throop St. on February 7, 2019 at approximately 5:26 p.m.
