11 Apr 19-18th District Seeking to Identify
Area Central Detectives are seeking to identify the above 2 pictured subjects in relation to an aggravated battery that occurred in the 018th District (Near North). This incident occurred at 10 E. Chicago Ave. on 7 April 19 at 3:17pm. The above 2 pictured subjects entered a restaurant, were disruptive to customers and employees and were asked to leave the restaurant. After a verbal altercation with security, the 2 pictured subjects, battered security. The 2 pictured subjects struck security on the head with a glass bottle and punched him several times about the head and body.

10 Apr 19 - Community Alert - 2nd District Robbery - P19-1-119CA
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 2nd (Central) District of robbery related incidents during the month of April. Citizens riding bikes on the bike path at 4700 S Lake Shore Drive have been pulled off their bikes and robbed of their belonging by male black offenders. No weapons have been used. These incidents have occurred during the evening hours in the general geographical locations listed below:

08 Apr 19-Community Alert-6th District Residential Burglaries P19-02-03(CA) NP

This alert gives notice to recent residential burglaries in Auburn Gresham, beat 621.  In most of these incidents, the offender(s) gained access into the premises through a rear window or door while the residents were at work.  The offender (s) then rummaged through the residence and took property from within.

07 Apr 19- Community Alert-17th District (Albany Park) Attempt Child Luring JC209547

On April 1, 2019, at approximately 7:15 a.m., a 14 year-old female was at the CTA bus stop, located on the 4200 block of North Kimball Ave., when a vehicle containing two male occupants stopped. The passenger opened his door, pulled down his pants, thus exposing himself and instructed the female to get into the vehicle.  The victim ignored the request and the vehicle drove off Southbound on Kimball Ave.

07 Apr 19- Business Alert-1st, 11th, 15th and 25th District-Robberies-19-CWP-009 NP

This alert gives notice of commercial burglaries to restaurants, convenience stores, and storage facilities. The method of entry has varied based on the structure. The offender made access through roof vents at single story structures and pried/broke doors and windows on larger commercial buildings. Once inside, the offender demolished walls to gain access to registers and offices when necessary. The registers were pried open and an unknown amount of US currency was taken, along with other property.

07 Apr 19-Community Alert-6h District Theft from Vehicles P19-02-032- NP

This alert gives notice to Chicago Transit Authority “CTA” and the residents of the 6th District (Gresham) of recent thefts from autos that have occurred on Beat 623. In these incidents, an unknown offender(s) forcibly entered into the vehicles parked on CTA property and took property from within.
