21 Oct 19 - Community Alert Attempt Kidnapping 4th District
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 004th District and surrounding districts of a recent attempted kidnapping which occurred at approximately 9100 S. Baltimore on the 20th of October 2019 at approximately 9:15 p.m. At this time, a male Hispanic offender  wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans exited an unknown make and model White SUV and approached a 23 year-old female victim while brandishing a knife. The offender stated to the victim “Bitch get in the car!” The offender grabbed the victim by her hair and attempted to pull her into his vehicle. The victim kicked the offender in the groin and fled on foot. The offender chased the victim on foot while the victim called 911 for help. The victim was able to obtain assistance from a citizen walking by and the offender fled Eastbound on 91st St. in his white SUV

19 Oct 19 -019th District Community Alert Cell Phone Thefts
This alert gives notice to the residents in the 19th District of two recent cellular phone thefts. One or two offenders entered into businesses and approached individuals seated with cellular phones resting on tabletops. One offender removed the phones from the tabletops before fleeing from the business on foot.

16 Oct 19 Business Alert Commercial Burglary 22nd District
This alert gives notice to recent burglaries of businesses that have occurred within the boundaries of the 22nd District (Morgan Park). In these cases, an unknown offender threw a piece of concrete through the glass door of businesses, entered, and took cash from the registers.  The establishments were broken into during late night, early morning hours between 11:00pm-6:30am.

16 Oct 19 - Community Alert Residential Burglary 22nd District
This alert gives notice to recent burglaries that have occurred within the boundaries of the 22nd District in the Morgan Park neighborhood on beat 2234.  An unknown offender kicked in doors, entered the houses and took electronics and jewelry from within. All residences were burglarized between 05:00am – 04:00pm.  The area targeted is between the 10800-11100 blocks of Throop Street to Bishop Street.
