25 Aug 20 - Community Alert- 24th District Robberies P20-3-161(CA)This alert gives notice to residents in the 24th District (Rogers Park) of recent robberies. In these incidents, the offenders approached the victim on the street from behind while the victim is on foot. The offenders then surrounded or pursued the victim on foot before striking the victim in the back of the head, punching and kicking the victim. The offenders then removed property from the victim.
25 Aug 20 - Business Alert - 6th, 22nd Districts - Commerical Robberies - P-20-2-087This alert gives notice to commercial businesses in the 6th District (Gresham) and 22nd District (Morgan Park) of recent armed robberies that have occurred on Beats 2213, 2221 & 614. In these incidents, the offender(s) entered a business, attempted some type of transaction with the clerk and then announced a robbery. The offender then went around the service counter, implied or displayed a weapon before demanding money. The offender(s) then took the victim’s property/U.S. currency and fled the area.
25 Aug 20 - Seeking to Identify - 9th District - Robbery - JD327691Area One Detectives are seeking to identify the above pictured subject in relation to a robbery that occurred in the 9th District (Deering). The incident occurred in the 1800 Block of W. 47rd St on August 10th, 2020 at approximately 8:19 PM. The offender approached the victim from behind and forcibly grabbed the victim’s purse from around her left shoulder. The offender took the victims purse and fled in an unknown direction.
21 Aug 20 - Seeking to Identify - 18th District - Looting - 400 block of N StateThe Area 3 Looting Task Force is seeking to identify these individuals in relation to burglary / looting that occurred in the 18th District. They are suspected of stealing items from a convenience store located in the 400 Block of N State St.
