Offender Charged with Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking, Armed Robbery
CPD Community Alert – Armed Robberies & Aggravated Vehicular Hijackings 14th & 17th Districts (Shakespeare – Albany Park)
About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to residents of the 014th & 017th Districts of recent armed robberies and vehicular hijackings, in which the victims are approached by the offenders who display handguns, point the guns either at victim, state “give me the money” or “give me your keys” and demand the victim’s personal property (wallet, money, jewelry and cellphone) and/or vehicles. Offenders then punch, slap, or use the firearm to strike the victims afterwards. Offenders seen getting into a grey sedan.
