“I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago and attended Mt. Carmel High School in the Woodlawn neighborhood. I enjoy the outdoors and good music in my leisure time. I am a 23 year veteran of the CPD, who has spent time in the Bureau of Patrol, Central Investigations, and the Narcotics Division. My vision for the 2nd District is a place where everyone can enjoy their neighborhood without any concerns. The 2nd District is place where citizens have the same aligned goals and they see the hope and promise of this historic community. Through continued trust-building, I see the community partnering with the 2nd District in a way in which we not only hold each other accountable, but create continued opportunities to bridge the gap.”
