CPD Community Alert – 25th District Robberies (Grand Central)
This alert gives notice to residents in the 025th District of three recent robberies on Beat 2534. In these cases, multiple offenders approached the victims and announced a robbery. The offenders threatened the victims with a firearm and then took the victims’ personal property. In two cases, the offenders were seen fleeing in a small white vehicle, possibly a Chevy.

This alert gives notice to residents of the Morgan Park (22nd) District of three recent burglary incidents that occurred in the Beverly neighborhood. An unknown offender has been targeting apartment buildings located on the 10400 block of South Hale.

13Feb16025AttemptChildLuringCommunity Alert On February 8, 2016 at approximately 5:00 p.m., two female juvenile victims were walking east bound on the 6300 block of West Barry Ave. The victims observed a vehicle that was parked in front of Steinmetz High School. As the victims walked past the vehicle, the passenger of the vehicle asked them “do you need a ride?” The victims continued to walk north bound on Mobile Ave towards Belmont Ave. The driver of the vehicle then asked “do you want to make some money?” The victims in fear for their safety then fled the area and immediately reported the incident to their parents. The unknown offenders then fled east bound on Barry Ave.
