On November 1, 2015, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Gresham (6th) District officers responded to a traffic crash on the 7700 block of South Loomis, after a male driver traveling at a high rate of speed struck several parked vehicles. Upon arrival officers observed a vehicle in the street on fire and were informed by witnesses that one victim was able to get out and two males were still inside of the vehicle. The officers immediately took control of the situation by breaking out the door windows and were able to extricate two unconscious males before the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Three male adult victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. No officers were injured.

The four officers are currently assigned Gresham (6th) District.
