Chicago Police Recover $6.75 Million Worth of Narcotics

The above offender were arrested and charged after over $6 million dollars worth of cocaine was found in his possession on January 30, 2015, at approximately 2:30 pm. Chicago Police Narcotics Division officers were conducting a narcotics related
investigation involving the above offender when the offender was observed placing two heavy suitcases into his vehicle. As the offender drove off, his vehicle was stopped by police after the offender committed a traffic violation in the 1500 block of N. Kedvale. The offender could not produce a driver’s license and was placed into custody. Further investigation revealed the contents of the suitcases to contain 90 brick shaped objects containing cocaine. The estimated weight of the narcotics was 54,000 grams and has an estimated street value of $6.75 million dollars.
