Burglary – Home Invasions
016th District (Jefferson Park), 017th District (Albany Park),
and 025th (Grand Central)
About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the above Districts, of recent burglary
home invasions that have occurred. In these incidents, the offender (s) gain entry to
the residences, threaten and batter the victims while demanding their property.
Incident times and locations:
• 4100 block of N. Avers on May 19, 2017 at 1:08 pm
• 4800 block of W. Nelson on May 23, 2017 at 9:35 pm
• 5400 block of W. Henderson on May 25, 2017 at 11:47 pm
About the Offender(s):
Offender(s) are described as males, wearing dark clothing.
What you can do:
• Always be aware of your surroundings and lock doors and windows.
• Report suspicious activity immediately.
• If you are confronted by an assailant, remain calm.
• Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s)
including any vehicle description and license plate information.
• If approached by a witness to the incidents, request contact information.
