This alert gives notice to the residents of the 16th District (Jefferson Park) of garage burglaries that have occurred in the months of September and October. In these incidents, unknown offender(s) made entry into residential garages by cutting a hole in the overhead garage door and then took property.

On September 21, 2015, at 11:45 a.m. a lone subject is seen exiting a silver BMW sedan on the 5200 block of North Meade, approaching a garage at that location and making a forced entry. If you have any information contact Area North Detective Mullane at 312-744-8263.
