This alert gives notice to recent Strong Armed Robberies that have occurred in the 016th & 025th Districts. The majority of these robberies have occurred in the area from Addison to Diversey, and Narragansett to Sayre. In these robberies, the victims are approached by the offender on foot. The offender then attempts to take the victim’s purse or wallet if the victim resists, the victims are battered by the offender, who then takes the victim’s purse or wallet.
