This alert gives notice to the residents in the 15^th District (Austin) of two recent armed robberies. In these robberies, the victims were approached by one to three offenders. One offender displayed a knife or other object and demanded the victim’s property. In one incident, the victim was approached by the offender(s) from behind and placed a hard object against the victim’s back at which time the offender demanded the victim’s property. In the second incident, the victim was battered after the offenders displayed a knife and demanded property
