This alert gives notice to residents in the 12th District of robbery related incidents that have occurred on Beats 1223 and 1225. In these incidents, two to three offenders approach the victim on the street and display a handgun. The offenders announce a robbery and take the victim’s personal property or vehicle. Incident times and locations are listed below:
- 2300 block of W. Monroe on January 12, 2016 at approximately 7:00 A.M.
- 200 block of S. Western on January 13, 2016 at approximately 1:00 P.M.
- 2100 block of W. Maypole on January 15, 2016 at approximately 7:00 P.M.
About the offenders:
Two to three male blacks between 20-30 years of age, weighing between 150-190 lbs. armed with a handgun
