CPD Community Alert: Wanted for Attempt Child Luring 017th District
29 Apr 2016

On April 26, 2016, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a female juvenile was walking home from school (Roosevelt H.S.). As the juvenile reached the 4500 block of North St. Louis Avenue, the driver of a White Jeep vehicle pulled up alongside the curb next to the juvenile. The unknown male driver honked his horn and through the passenger side motioned for the juvenile to come over to the car. The juvenile ignored the unknown males request and kept walking away which angered the unknown male who kept blowing his horn at the juvenile. The unknown male continued to follow the juvenile another block placing the juvenile in fear for her safety. The juvenile stopped into a store in the 3500 block of West Montrose where 911 was called. The unknown driver waited outside the store for a few minutes then fled westbound on Montrose.
