Escapee Kamron Taylor was taken into custody by Chicago Police in the 9200 block of S. Harper Ave. On April 3, 2015, at approximately 9:00 pm, 004th District officers responded to a call of a suspicious person, as the officers approached, Taylor fled on foot. Officers apprehended him a short distance away and recovered a loaded .38 caliber revolver. Taylor has been charged accordingly and will be turned over to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department at a later time to face local charges.
