The victim, a 51-year-old male, was discovered inside a garage at the above location with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to University of Chicago Hospital in serious condition. The victim’s condition may change while in transit or be reclassified upon arrival at the hospital. A witness related they heard a gunshot just prior to finding the victim. Circumstance of the shooting remain under investigation. No offender description is available and no one is in custody at this time. Area One detectives are investigating.
