In the 5600 block of S. Maryland Avenue on November 20, 2023, at approx. 3:58 p.m., a male victim (unknown age) sustained a gunshot wound to the left chest by an unknown offender. The victim was treated and released at the University of Chicago Hospital. Area One Detectives are investigating.
