The victims were standing in a parking lot when shots were fired. A 44 year old male was transported by the CFD to Mt. Sinai in serious condition with gsw’s to the chest. A 22 year old male was transported by the CFD to Mt. Sinai in good condition with a gsw to the back. There is no one in custody and Area One detectives are investigating.
In the 8400 block of S. Drexel Avenue at approximately 1:59 p.m., a 16-year-old male victim was on the sidewalk when he sustained a gunshot wound to the right leg by an unknown offender. The victim was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition. Area Two Detectives are investigating.
A 32-year-old male victim was traveling in a vehicle when he was shot at by an unidentified male offender traveling in a black SUV. The victim sustained one gsw to the neck and was transported to Stroger Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. There is no one in custody and Area Five Detectives are investigating.
Police responded to a person shot and found multiple people struck by gunfire. A 31-year-old male victim was outside when he was approached by two males in a vehicle. The two males in the vehicle drew their firearms and began shooting at the 31-year-old male. The 31-year-old male who is a carry concealed license holder produced a firearm and returned fire striking the two males in the vehicle. The 31-year-old male victim sustained a gsw to torso and was transported to Stroger Hospital in fair condition. A 44-year-old male occupant of the vehicle sustained one gsw to the chest and was pronounced on scene. The second male occupant of the vehicle, 37 years of age sustained one gsw to the shoulder and was transported to Mt. Sinai in fair condition. A weapon was recovered and Area Five Detectives are investigating.
