Marlon Welton,20 was arrested after he was identified as the man who fatally shot a 15 year old boy. This incident occurred on June 16, 2015 at approximately 5:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of S. Millard Ave. The 15 year old was standing in a group of people during an argument when Welton fired shots striking the victim. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest and later pronounced. Welton was charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.
Three Juveniles Charged Fatal North Lawndale Shooting
Three male juveniles were arrested after they were identified as the persons responsible for fatally shooting a 15 year old boy. The incident occurred in the 4100 block of W. Cullerton St., on June 17, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Three male juveniles approached a 15 year old boy and announced a robbery. The 15 year old turned to flee when he was shot in the back. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced. The juveniles were charged accordingly as adults. No further information is available at this time.

10th district Attempt Luring _HY287940_On June 3, 2015, at approximately 7:50 AM, on the 2600 block of W 21st Place a male Hispanic attempted to lure a 14 year old female into his vehicle. The Offender used his vehicle to block the youth’s path as she attempted to cross the street. At which time she ran away.

Chicago Woman Charged with Filing a False Report
Fuentes was arrested and charged with the above offense after she recanted her story of being the victim of a kidnapping. Fuentes originally reported to Area Central detectives that on April 11, 2015, at approximately 8:30 am on the 2000 block of S. Pulaski, while standing at a bus stop a male approached her and struck her in the back head. Fuentes stated that she was then dragged to a nearby abandoned building and held against her will by three male offenders until she was able to escape on April 14, 2015. Second Offender Charged in Accidental Shooting of 8-year-old
Jeffery Williams was arrested in connection to the accidental shooting of an 8-year-old boy on April 7, 2015, at approximately 10:45 am on the 3700 block of W. 13th St. The victim and another juvenile found a handgun inside the apartment, and while handling the firearm, the juvenile accidentally discharged the weapon and the victim was struck in the abdomen. 12Apr15 Charges for Jeffery Williams

Man Charged in Shooting Incident
On March 21, 2015, at approx. 6:00 p.m., the offender notified Chicago Police to report that his vehicle, a Dodge Grand Caravan, had been stolen. Officers responded to the 4300 block of W. Cullerton to investigate and complete a preliminary report and met with the offender. The offender, who possessed a CCL (Conceal Carry License) and FOID card, then left the area to search for his vehicle, armed with a handgun.
