This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 016th District (Jefferson Park) of an incident involving a sixteen year old female who was walking home from school when she observed the listed offender exit a black pick-up truck. The offender approached her, said “come here” and attempted to hug her. She rejected the hug and he pulled her by the shoulder. She pulled away, fled on foot and made good her escape. The offender entered his pick-up truck and fled south bound on Milwaukee Ave. This event occurred on October 27, 2015 at approximately 1515hrs at 5900 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the Jefferson Park (16th) District at 5900 W. Irving Park Rd. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, September
19th, 2015.

Five recent armed robbery incidents have occurred in the 16th and 17th District. In these cases, a victim is approached from behind by 1 to 4 unknown offender(s). One offender displays a dark or silver colored handgun, while the other offender(s) takes property from the victim. The offender(s) fled the scene in a White Toyota Highlander four door SUV. The offenders take cell phones, wallets, and USC.
