Community Alert – Robberies – 018th District (Near North)
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 018th District (Near North) of an increase in Robbery related incidents during the month of September. In these incidents, two male black offenders approach a victim on the street (waiting for an UBER ride) and invite victim into their vehicle. Offenders proceed to intimidate victims and demand / take debit cards and PIN info.

Wanted for Public Indecency – 018th District (Near North)
On 03 September, 2015 at approximately 6:45 am and 7:45 pm, in the 1900 block of Bissell an unknown male white was observed sitting on a bench exposing himself to the victim. The female adult victim then left the area and notified police.

Community Alert – Robbery – 1st District (Central) & 18th District (Near North)
This alert gives notice to citizens residing in the 1st (Central) and 18th (Near North) Districts of robbery related incidents during the month of August. Offenders were driving a newer model, small hatch back, black or dark blue in color. The driver was wearing a white shirt in both incidents. Offenders displayed a black handgun in both incidents.
North side Man Charged with Criminal Sexual Assault
Isidrio Valverde was arrested and charged after being identified by victim as the person who sexually assaulted her on 20 Aug 15 on the 900 block of W. Belden. During the course of arrest Valverde intentionally struck an arresting officer with his vehicle in an attempt to defeat the arrest. The officer was taken to an area hospital where the officer was treated and released.
Community Alert – Wanted for Criminal Sexual Assault – 18th District (Near North)
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 18th District (Near North) of two criminal sexual assaults and one attempt criminal sexual assault. In each crime the lone female was walking home in the early morning hours in the Lincoln Park area and was approached from behind by an unknown male. On August 9, 2015, and August 20, 2015 the offender grabbed the victim and assaulted her. On August 15, 2015 the lone female walking home was approached from behind and held by the offender. In this case, the victim was able to fight off her attacker. In two of attacks, which occurred on the August 15th and 20th, the victims were at the entryway of their respective residences. After each assault, the offender then fled on foot.
Business Alert-Armed Robberies-Convenience Stores 014, 017, 018 & 019th Districts
This alert gives notice to businesses operating in the 014th, 017th, 018th and 019th districts, of Armed Robberies of a small retail stores in those districts. Anywhere from one to three offenders enter the small retail stores and announce a robbery while armed with
handguns.
DUI STRIKE FORCE PATROLS – CENTRAL (1st) & NEAR NORTH (18th) DISTRICTS
The Chicago Police Department will be conducting DUI Strike Force Patrols in the Central (1st) and Near North (18th) Districts this weekend.
ROADSIDE SAFETY CHECK – SOUTH CHICAGO (4TH) DISTRICT
The Chicago Police Department will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in the South Chicago (4th) District at Brainard and Baltimore Ave. The Roadside Safety Check will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29th, 2015 and end at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30th, 2015.
