This alert gives notice to the residents of the 19th district of a Burglary, Home Invasion which occurred on February 25, 2018. The victim was bound and the home was burglarized. On February 25, 2018, CTA camera captured this individual using the victim’s CTA Ventra card at the CTA Brown Line shortly after the home invasion. Area North Property Crimes Detectives are looking to identify the above pictured subject.
03 Feb 18-Community Alert-19th District Attempt Criminal Sexual Assault
On February 3, 2018, at approximately 1:10 am, the 26 year old female victim was walking eastbound on Cornelia from Sheffield when she was grabbed from behind by the offender and pushed into an alley. The offender demanded money, which the victim handed over. The offender then began removing the victim’s clothing and attempted to sexually assault her. When nearby residents appeared, the offender fled.
23 Nov 17 Community Alert Aremd Robbery-Home Invasion 14th and 19th Districts P17-N-266CA
Armed Robberies have occurred in which the offenders lead the victims back into their residences at gunpoint and rob them of cash, jewelry, and mobile phones.
