On April 30, 2017 at approximately 9:10 p.m. a 31-year-old female was walking southbound on the 4300 block of North Campbell when she was approached from behind by an unknown offender, described as a male black wearing a dark colored sweatshirt. The offender produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The offender then ordered the victim into the alley on the 2400 block of W. Pensacola where he sexually assaulted her. The offender then fled westbound in the alley.

Bureau of Detectives – Area North Community Alert Commercial Burglaries 19th District (Town Hall) About the Crime: This alert gives notice to four recent Commercial Burglaries that have occurred within the boundaries of the 19th District (Town Hall) in the last week. In these burglaries, businesses have been targeted by the offender(s) after the business has closed for the day. The offender(s) smashed the glass door, gained entry, and took cash from the register and cigarettes from the business.

Incident times and locations:

• 4100 block of N. Clarendon on April 20, 2017 at 06:05 am

• 4100 block of N. Clarendon on April 21-22, 2017 between 10:00pm & 5:30am.

• 2500 block of N. Lincoln on April 22, 2017 at 05:45am

• 2600 block of N. Clybourn on April 23, 2017 between 06:00am & 06:30am

About the Offender: Three male black offenders, 5’10 – 6’00 185 – 200 pounds, 25 – 30 years of age Possibly driving a dark grey Dodge wagon with broken passenger side window.

• If possible, purchase and maintain a working alarm system.

This alert gives notice of recent Armed Robberies that have occurred in the 14th, 17th and 19th Districts. In these robberies, the victims (taxi drivers) pick up the offender as a fare and once at the destination, the offender announces a robbery by placing the victims in a headlock, placing what the victim believed to be a handgun to their head demanding money in two instances and producing a large knife in the other. About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to recent Armed Robberies that occurred in the 14th, 17th and
19th Districts. In these robberies, the victims (taxi drivers) picked up the offender as
a fare and once at the destination the offender announced a robbery by placing the
victims in a headlock and placing what the victim believed to be a handgun to their
head demanding money in two instances and producing a large knife in the other.
The offender took money and cellphones from the victims.
Incident times and locations:
• 2000 block of W. Webster on April 14, 2017 at 1:25am.
• 3500 block of W. Melrose on April 14, 2017 at 3:00am and 3:20am.
• 3700 block of N. Clark on April 15, 2017 at 1:20am.
About the Offender:
• The offender is described as a male Hispanic, 5’07 – 5’09, 150 – 160 pounds,
clean shaven, wearing a black baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, and blue
jeans

About This Crime
On March 27, 2017, at approximately 7:35 a.m., a 13 year-old female was walking to
school in the 900 block of W. Wrightwood Ave., when a vehicle containing one male
subject stopped and called out to the female, attempting to engage her in conversation.
The female continued walking, when approx. a half block later, the vehicle pulled up
again and the subject called out to her a second time. The female continued walking,
ignoring the subject when she pulled out her phone and called for assistance, she lost
sight of the vehicle.
About the Offender
• Male White believed to be in his late teens or early twenties, with dark colored
“shaggy” looking hair. No clothing description was provided. Subject had no
facial hair and was not wearing glasses
About the Vehicle
• White or cream colored. Possibly newer model sedan.

• Call 911 to report any suspicious persons or activity.
• Walk in pairs.
• Don’t talk to strangers or approach strange vehicles.
• Be aware of your surroundings and travel in well lit and populated areas.

About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to recent Strong Armed Robberies that have occurred within
the boundaries of the 19th District (Town Hall). In these robberies, a group of
offenders approached the victims on the street, and all of the offenders began to
punch and kick the victims, knocking them to the ground. While continuing to beat
the victims while they are on the ground, the offenders also took property from the
victims.
Incident times and locations:
• 2700 block of W. Lawrence on March 7, 2017 at 1:10am.
• 4500 block of N. Magnolia on March 7, 2017 at 8:30pm.
• 4500 block of N. Broadway on March 11, 2017 at 5:30am.
About the Offender:
There are several described offenders in these robberies. The offenders are Black
males between the ages of 15-25, varying in height from 5’9″ tall to 6’0″ tall. The
offenders have been wearing different colored hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.

18 Mar 17 Charges for Henigan, O’Brian Jarqueese, 31:

Henigan was placed into custody after being positively identified as the offender involved in the aggravated kidnapping of a 24-year-old female victim. The incident occurred on March 9th, 2017 at 8:20 p.m in the 3700 block of N. Fremont Street. Henigan approached the victim armed with a handgun as she was exiting the garage. Henigan then sexually assaulted the victim and forced her into the trunk of a vehicle. Henigan then drove to several locations in the Chicago Southside area before striking a tree. Through the course of the investigation Henigan was identified and arrested on March 17th, 2017 in the 10300 block of S. Halsted and charged accordingly.

This alert gives notice to three recent Motor Vehicle Thefts that have occurred within
the boundaries of the 19th District. The three Motor Vehicle Thefts occurred on Bt.
1935, in the area between Clark to Lincoln, and Wrightwood to Fullerton. In these
incidents, the keys to the vehicle are left inside the vehicle, and unknown offender(s)
take the vehicle.
Incident times and locations:
• 2400 block of N. Lincoln on March 2, 2017 between 6:30pm & 9:00pm.
• 2400 block of N. Lincoln on March 5, 2017 at 4:00pm.
• 500 block of W. Deming on March 9, 2017 at 5:40pm.
