18Jan18 22nd District CA Commercial Burglary
This alert gives notice of recent Burglaries to businesses that have occurred within the boundaries of the 22nd District (Morgan Park). In these cases, the below described offender made entry to closed businesses by breaking the glass front door, or prying the rear door. The offender enters the establishments taking cash registers. Break-Ins occur between the hours of 3:00am and 6:00am.

06 Nov 17 22nd Dist P17-2-113CA Robbery Alert
This alert gives notice of four recent Robbery incidents that have occurred within the boundaries of the 22nd District (Morgan Park) in the Beverly neighborhood. In these cases, two African American males, between 14-18 years old exit a vehicle and approach a lone victim. The offenders were both armed with handguns, and demanded purses and cell phones from the victims. The offenders flee in a waiting getaway car. The car was described as silver 4 door sedan.

This alert gives notice of four recent Vehicle Hijackings that have occurred within the boundaries of the 22nd District (Morgan Park) on beat 2222 & 2223. Victims were parking their cars at their residence, and upon exiting their vehicle, were confronted by armed offenders who forcibly took their cars.
08 Sept 17 - Armed Roberry 22nd District P17-2-089CA Robbery Alert
This alert gives notice of two recent Robbery incidents that have occurred within the boundaries of the 22nd District (Morgan Park) on beat 2233. In these cases, a male African American, between 30-40 years old approaches male senior citizens, in the area or 111th Parnell-Union. The offender engages the senior victims in conversation, asking for change, or to use a phone. The offender then displayed a handgun demanding cash in one incident, in another incident; the offender pushed the senior down taking cash. Incidents occur between 3:00pm-8:00pm. The offender fled the area in a newer model dark colored SUV.
08 Sept 17 P17-2-088CA Garage Burglary 22nd District
This alert gives notice to residents of the Morgan Park (22nd) District of recent Garage Burglaries that have occurred in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood on beat 2211. In these incidents, an offender has been unlawfully entering residential garages taking tools and electronics from within. These garages were left unlocked. The times of these burglaries are between 12:00am and 10:30am.
